I think for montreal to win the cup this year they have to get rid of dandy and begin and get a half decent defenceman that is sound in the D zone and can score 25 points. If they do that the cup will once again be in montrealMr Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10883270813587136995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31438400.post-85670838665993894102008-10-07T10:40:00.000-04:002008-10-07T10:40:00.000-04:00Given Carbo's past history, I wonder if your big l...Given Carbo's past history, I wonder if your big line will stay intact for an entire year. If so, I'll be elated if they attain the level of achievement that you have predicted. I can't see why we would trade both experienced forwards (Dandy, TTB)if we are going to be making a run for the Cup. Teams usually load up on those type of players at the deadline. With that in mind, I also believe we need more experience on defense. Carle and Valentenko need another year in Hamilton and Weber has no experience at the professional level. Price and Halak are going to need all the help they can get. As for predictions, first we win our division and then we move on to the Cup final. Anything short of that will be considered failure in my eyes.24 Cupshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12281838355386830648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31438400.post-14671011031047733782008-10-07T04:56:00.000-04:002008-10-07T04:56:00.000-04:00Personally i would keep Kostopoulos over Begin. And let's not forget his playoff performance either. This is a guy that can really bring it home for the team whereas Begin is getting older and on a decline.

Unfortunately i think the fact that Begin played for the Habs so long earns him amnesty in this case, even though Kostopoulos is, to me, clearly the better player of the two.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31438400.post-11604274127017912892008-10-06T13:17:00.000-04:002008-10-06T13:17:00.000-04:00And 113 points!
