Test Your Vision - A Fun Time Out

Time out from hockey for a little silly fun here.

I have a private obsession confession - I was a longtime KISS fanatic. In my youth, they were Gods of thunder to me. I bought all thirtysomething of their albums and saw them in concert over a dozen times. I bought the action figures, dressed like Gene at Halloween, and impregnated my wife while wearing a cheap ass KISS condom.

However deep this obsession was, I could never quite succumb to actually purchasing the KISS My Ass toilet paper. Thought I do own four sets of KISS cards.

Nearing the age of fourty, I guess I finally clued in that it had become more about marketing than music. I been trying to unload the KISS junk I've amassed through three decades for a few years now but have found no takers for my somewhat steep price. I still love most of the tunes, though. The discs aren't going anywhere yet!

For a little fun, I have posted here 7 photos that are Gene Simmons related. Only 4 are actually the current "Family Jewels" star. Three of these may look like different incarnations of Simmons, but are not.

Can you tell which three are Gene wannabe's?

Have fun, and don't be fooled by the chihuahua!

"..and impregnated my wife while wearing a cheap ass KISS condom."

That is the honest quote of the damn year!

I really dig the 1st and 3rd pics of Gene. What is the 1st (top left) from? Never seen it before.

I only like 70's KISS. I love it Loud is one of my faves. But my alltime favorite KISS moments is when Ace does his solos, flicks the switch, and fire comes out of his guitar pickups.

Crap, going against my last comment, my answer to your question is photos 1,4, and 5. Is #1 someone really someone else? The dude is playing a six string.
Have I been had?

LOL, You got the dog right!

The pic #1 top left is from 1972 during the embryonic formation. Many different bat winged eyes were attempted. While they rehearsed in their famous loft and were still called Wicked Lester, Paul actually had his face painted entirely in red. I guess he wanted to be a tomato or something!

#4 is actually another Gene Simmons who had a hit in '65 with the Holloween themed "Haunted House". It was great tune and inspired a young Chaim Witz (Gene's real name) to take up that identity years later.

That's all I'll give away for now...keep guessing!
